mcee! Except I only have 11 icons, so she said "Tell me about the last 7!" and I am shamelessly interpreting that to mean "Tell me about the ones you think are the shiniest!"
Comment and I'll pick seven of your icons, and then you will explain why you love/are using the icon (who doesn't love talking about their icons, seriously) and then post your explanation/this meme in your journal for other people to squee about their icons, and basically it will be a huge squeefest of love and 100x100 square pixels.
1. Wingdings

This is my newest icon. Sometimes you just need to express your wrath to the world, and you might as well do it in comic-book style. I've always wanted to be able to curse in symbols (which remind me of the wingdings font) and speech bubbles; it seems more fun, somehow.
2. Defiant

I was going for a sort of warm-neutrals with bright accents color theme for this icon set, which this icon epitomizes. I also love the very stubborn-sexy chin angle, and the fact that he has "SPAIN" written on his neck for no known reason. Is LynZ Spanish? It's one of my favorite pictures of Gerard, because he's well-dressed and clean and sober and he looks so damn satisfied with his life.
3. Halloween

Enough said, really. My favorite holiday of my favorite season, I have to show my joy. I love this shade of orange, the bright-white contrast of the fangs and the pop-art feel of it. As you can tell, I tend to choose my icons for aesthetic reasons as much as personal meaning. I also use more care than is really warranted; my friends could tell you that I apply that same perfectionism and excessive care for detail to what I'm wearing, from clothing to jewelry.
4. White Stripes

This is an icon of the White Stripes, but it doesn't really look like it, which I enjoy. Slightly wistful, slightly cheerful, like a goodbye that's long but still temporary. Nothing deeply meaningful, just pretty and pleasing. Also the White Stripes are awesome.
5. Ghosts

Another fall/halloween icon. I just fell in love with the art and the cropping on this one, and it falls in perfectly with my color scheme. Ghosts are my favorite thing I don't really believe in (no matter how much I jump at small noises after an episode of Supernatural), and these ones are so cute! Paper-bag ghosts.
6. Threadless

This one came from a Threadless design, obviously. I think it's sweet and funny and artistically interesting. Starry skies are my favorite. If I'm commenting/posting and it's night in my time zone, I will probably use this icon, because no-one ever said I was too deep.
7. Death

If I had this chick's attitude towards life and its problems, I would be much better off. I love this scene in the comics, with the pigeons, it's adorable.
So, feel free to comment and spread the fun. Also, searching through Buzznet has made me want to do a "How LynZ Is Enough Like A Certain Rhythm Guitarist To Make Psychologists Sit Up And Take Notice" picspam, because SERIOUSLY.
I want to make a "Yay It's Fall!" playlist. It would be a lot of acoustic-y ballads and some piano songs, because those do best with a background of crunching leaves and cold winds.

1. PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEEEEEASE do that Lyn-Z picspam. You can't tease about something like that and not follow through!
2. Ditto on the playlist. I'm always on the hunt for new music. :D

I think I pretty much have to, now. I'm just debating whether to make it a proper comparison with matching Frank-pictures and everything, or a more generic "LynZ is awesome, and this dorkface looks really familiar."
I'll try! Some of the songs might be things I've bought off iTunes, which I'm pretty sure I'm prevented from sharing, but I'll upload the rest when I do it.

I think a side-by-side would be AWESOME, but I think a more generic picspam would suit the purpose just fine. :)
And YAY MUSIC! I'm greedy, I'll take what I can get!

I just chose my favorites. Yay!
We shall see. I think enough people know Frank that if I go "Look! Playing guitar on her back!" they will get the connection.

I like having a couple non-fandom icons, and this one just made me laugh because it's so LUDICROUS. T-REXES! With their tiny flaily little arms! Probably laughing because they're about to EAT UR FACE!

I'm gonna be a little lazy and just c&p what I said to
I just uploaded this one today, and I love love love it. I have such a thing for boys in scarves. And the cropping is so lovely and evocative, with the snow and the "do not enter" sign in the background.
Mostly, I'm not a huge fan of Gerard's blond phase, but I love these series of pictures. He's got such great facial expressions, and Mikey is at his most stoically awesome. But they still don't look even slightly related.
This is the only one of Frank's tattoos that actually makes me wince to think about, but I love that that crazy little bastard has it. ALL of them are proud of where they come from, but none of them love Jersey like Frank does. He makes me proud to be a Jersey girl. ♥
I have a soft spot the size of Alaska for really early pics of the band, and especially the Ways. Gerard was so utterly uncool, and Mikey was so accidentally and effortlessly cool, and this icon sums that all up so nicely, in 10,000 little pixels.
I had a different icon of this tat until this morning, when I replaced it with this one. I love the coloring of it, and that you can see both the Jack o' Lantern and "Keep the faith" tats as well as a bit of the scorpion on his neck. The only problem with this icon is that it gives me an almost uncontrollable urge to BITE him.
