Oct. 8th, 2006 11:32 amThe dress looked fantastic, I think. It's hard to tell, since the digital camera is having a spazz-fit, but I felt pretty good. Actually went out and had my makeup done; just the eyes, because I'm no good at doing them myself. You're supposed to learn that kind of thing for theater, but my eyes are large and dark and pretty much emphasize themselves, so I got away with no eye makeup then. It was fun to have Dramatic Smoky Eyes (and yes, it was capitalized in my head. *grins*)
The night was somewhat spoiled by a touch of Drama, which wasn't too bad, but took us completely by surprise; there is NO drama in our lives, ever. Guys are idiots, is basically the moral of that story.
I picked up The Shining from the library booksale, mostly in an attempt to immunize myself to horror, so that I will no longer fear the creepy clown from Supernatural. However, the book scares me just sitting on my dresser, no clue where I'll get the courage to actually open it.
ANNE, I went to stories_100 and it lists me as a member but there's no "post to" option. I am very confused and saddened by this.
