In case I am crazy-busy tomorrow like I have been today, happy Hallowe'en/birthday, Frank Iero/Dress Like A Dork day, y'all. My costume is a tribute to B-movie gothy chicks everywhere or some shit, whatever, I have a pleather belt. Patent pleather, which sounds like a species of bird the more I say it. I also have a rose, which I will probably end up hitting someone on the head with, and later tossing to whoever makes me smile the most.

Here, have pictures of my two favorite dorks at the moment!

This is the picture of LynZ that started me on my "She is totally the Viola to Frank's Sebastian, you can't convince me otherwise," kick. I really, really need an icon of this chick, she rocks so hard. *makes pleading eyes at [profile] provetheworst*

So I ditched the Clockwork Orange costume for Morticia Addams. The reasoning behind that is somewhat convoluted, basically coming down to "I've been an obscure and quasi-pretentious literary reference for the past two years, let us try something new." A combination of that thought, and suddenly digging up this lovely slinky black dress my mother wore once, and now I'm Morticia. Fake eyelashes, red lipstick, black nails, and a rose. Much more comfortable and convenient than my other idea, truth be told, if rather more cliche. I can still make it pretentious and literary if I babble on about Charles Addams when people ask me, at least.

Have finished 4.5 out of the 6 essays I have to write; am soldiering forwards. I have AIM now, so I'll go put my screenname up on my profile, friends-filtered; feel free to message me anytime, I love to talk, although I'll be signed off if I'm on the computer but really should be focusing on work. Like right now.

I love the halloween-themed toolbar at the top. ♥

ETA: OMG you guys my cat is asleep on the chair next to me and he's snoring. It is maybe the cutest thing ON THE PLANET.

Whoa, $40 book binge. If this wasn't going to be a sucky weekend, I would feel guilty, but I deserve some comfort. Friday wasn't bad, though; I forgot how much fun it is to run through a haunted house without ever letting go of someone's hand, screaming just because you can.

Off to go avoid gluing my fingers together with superglue...
