I would like to congratulate bandom for being literally the friendliest fandom I've ever seen. Making friends in this fandom is as easy as seeing someone who looks cool and deciding "Hey, I want to talk to that person!" This might seem commonsense, but compared to some other fandoms I've been in, it's nothing short of miraculous. I absolutely adore the attitude this fandom has towards everything, and being able to bond with people over music as well as fic is just fantastic.

I am in love, love, LOVE with this fandom and these people. They (you) are all the best EVER. We are the best ever. There was an interview the other day where someone asked Pete "What's the most extravagant thing you've ever bought?" He replied, "Ryan Ross." How can a fandom containing that piece of trivia be anything less than astounding?

Speaking of literature, I read A Streetcar Named Desire today, and it was brilliant. 

Now I'm going to combine literature and music and offer you the song that's been running through my head for days: Oedipus- Regina Spektor. Regina is one of my favorite musicians, and pulls off the cheeky-girl-with-a-piano without reminding me of Tori Amos (which is, for the most part, a good thing). Her style is interesting, her diction is fascinating, and songs like this are just a pleasure to listen to.

If anyone likes that song, I'll upload some more. I think I'll do that anyways, actually; I feel a Regina Spektor post coming on. She is a musician and also pretty, that is excuse enough.
