Jan. 11th, 2007 06:37 pmWrote brief, it was brilliant, ratted on awful group member with no sense of shame. Feel much better now. Also possibly aced Calc test, which is a strange and beautiful feeling to have. I'm firmly convinced that it's because I had Macy's Day Parade stuck in my head from double-derivatives through Newton's Method. Green Day is helps me focus on math stuff, that's why I always listen to it while doing Calc and Physics.
Ha! Today I dressed up for the Moot Court thing, which involved a swishy pleated subtly-plaid skirt, a dark-purple off-the-shoulder shirt, a string of pearls (real), and a pair of gorgeous purple suede ankle-strap stiletto-sandals which are hideously uncomfortable. So after the court thing (which the Respondant totally pwned, S. Court better watch out for Bong Hits 4 Jesus when in rolls into town in February. In all actuality, I've grown attached to the case and curious as to how it will really turn out) I switched out the heels for a pair of beat-up slip-on Converse which I proudly swished around in for the rest of the day. So many strange looks, I got. Still, I felt very pretty and got compliments, which counts for something in my world of horrible lack of self-confidence, appearance-wise.
Still haven't finished Painting #3, but I did some lovely blending today with a light shaded orange and a darker shaded red-orange for a piece of floor that went from shadow to sun back to shadow, so satisfaction all round.
