Apr. 14th, 2007 07:45 pmWTF MATE?! I had to skip back 400 entries to catch up. It's only been FIVE DAYS. Seriously.
So I'm back from Chicago and desperately grateful for my home, my cat, and my own goddamn bed with only one person in it and not having a gravity well in the center. I've also got almost a hundred pictures, varying from the blatantly touristy to the vaguely pretentiously Artsy, including a lot of historical-type buildings (Gov project) and of that weird bean-thing in Millenium Park (I am so, so vain).
Also have, um. CDs, Dark Side of the Moon armband, opal-and-silver necklace, and some ridiculously delicious Black Cherry Soda lipgloss. And the next two Dune books, and a book by SPIN magazine on alternative rock in the past 20 years. It had articles on cool bands like Nirvana and Green Day and it was shiny and I'm not good at the resisting.
So tired. Will have posts of usefullness later, complete with photographic accompaniment. My camera is so awesome. There's a picture of my face so huge that you can see my faint tiny dusting of freckles, the leftover smudges of eyeliner under my eyes and the streaks and circles of color in my irises. Also my CRAZY FRIZZ, hah. So amazing.
In random bandom news, TAI (a band) has apparantly gotten a free phone from Nokia and given out the phone number so that all their fans can call them. LOL WHAT. There are all these angsty posts about them going out to dinner and TURNING THE PHONE OFF, OH NOES. However, I have to say that it's a pretty cool thing to do. <3 TAI.
