I do love painting rocks. With trees and water and even clouds, there's certain rules you have to follow, but rocks are so irregular that you can just mess about as you wish. Also, these happen to be very pale grey-brown-white rocks, and acrylics are least true to color in lighter shades, drying much darker. So for texture, I'd brush on some paint that was so close to the original color that you couldn't see the difference, then watch it slowly darken into visibility, like those advertisements for crayola fingerpaints that only work on the special paper.

The point being, I've finished the painting. Therefore, having finally gotten to a stage where paintings, sculptures, jewelry, digital camera, digital camera/computer connecting cord, and digital camera memory stick are all in known locations, there will be a picture post. I swear. Maybe not this weekend, because I'm going to be insanely busy, but it is now an eventual certainty.

Oh, lord. Whatever possessed me to go watch Xena vids? Imeem makes it so easy. Honestly, though, that show is so very very lesbian that I'm amazed my parents let me watch it.

Because Xena RULES THE WORLD! Who doesn't want to watch Xena? I used to watch it religiously for a period of like 3 years, and my friends recently got DVDs of it, so I've been reliving those good times.
