1. I've already mentioned your cool icon. Um. I'm amazed that you manage to write so much, in such diverse fandoms. The variety of your fic is astounding.
2. You already write so much, there's no challenge there! Have you ever made an icon? I challenge you to make an amazingly awesome icon.
3. Tie-dye. In cheerful colors. *blinks*
4. You're very easy to talk to. That's a rather rare and wonderful quality. You don't just listen, you say intelligent things at the right times. It's... nice.
5. I remember being in the chatroom with you telling me that you figured out how to use the touchpad on your laptop, and I said something about how it would set your clothes on fire. Heh.
6. See, your bloody icon got seagulls stuck in my head! You don't remind me of seagulls at all, they're nasty filthy birds, but I can't think of anything else... When you've got your semi-sly smile on, you remind me of some small slinky rainforest-cat with interesting spots.
7. What fandom did you first write fic for? Randomly scribbling something down after reading a book totally counts.

1) Heeee, yay fandoms! I think I have so many is that I get bored, so I go searching for new stuff to read.
2) I've already made icons! BWahahaha. I should never have been given photoshop.
3) Yay! I'm colorful!
4) *blush* Yay talking though! Remember mercedes lackey chat?
5) Heeeeeeee. Oh the chatroom. I kinda miss it!
6) oo, I'm a cat!
7) Um....I'd say I wrote a complete bit of a rip-off from Tamora Pierce in 7th grade. POTO was my first serious writing fandom though.

OH GOD DAMN IT. I had yours almost done and then IE went and shut itself down. Grrrr.

1. You're the first internet-friend I've managed to convert to Supernatural. It makes me happy! Now I have someone else to talk about it with.
2. *yawn* I'm tired. Um... I challenge you to review the bloody fic I'm writing you, and if it's good enough, you have to write one in return.
3. Like the color of my red-amber pendant when I hold it up to the sun. Warm and glowing.
4. You're an interesting person, and it's contagious. That sounds like a disease, heh. What I mean is that talking to you is rewarding, in a weird way. God, I suck at this. Have a sexy-in-a-PG-way picture. (http://ponderosa121.livejournal.com/519127.html)
5. You liked my icon, and I was emboldened enough to friend you on LJ. A big step, considering how shy I was then; there are more than a few people whom I wish I'd friended back then and didn't.
6. Something I saw in a nature magazine once, something small and dark and sleek and amused-looking. Like a less roly-poly beaver with a furry tail.
7. You've mentioned that you write as well as draw, but I've never read anything you've written other than the letter-meme. Is any of it out somewhere I can find it?

1 - I just watched another episode of Supernatural. It was the one where they met Gordon (Ahhh, the vampire chick was Tara from Buffy). But there are no other episodes showing up, and I am miffed.

4 - Hey! Ponderosa. I'd recognize her stuff anywhere.

7 - Not anymore. But I'm writing a fic now, so you'll soon see. And I never said I could write "as well as" I draw--I just like writing better. ::grins::

1. Firefly! Have you read any good Firefly fic? I'm working my way through the episodes and am very curious as to where such things can be found.
2. I seem to remember there being a Phantom/Jekyde fic around here somewhere, COUGH COUGH COUGH. At least think about it fondly every now and then? It needs some love too.
3. Light sky-blue.
4. Your skills with photoshop are fantastic. I love your icons and wallpapers and manips and it's all so pretty!
5. ... gods. Long time ago. I know I knew you before then, but my oldest memory is looking at that super-spork icon and saying "Heee!"
6. 'member how you had that pic of you and your lovely cat to show off your fancy new digital camera? You are forever linked with that cat in my head.
7. I'm interested as to how you got into swimming competitively, actually. It's an odd question, but you talk about it all the time and I have a few friends who do it, and I was wondering where you started.

1.) No, I haven't. I've looked half-heartedly, read most of a really out of character Simon/Kaylee fic, then decided I can't read fanfiction based off a TV series. Weren't you the one who recommended Firefly to me?
2.) I'll try to give it some loving tonight, just for you. :D

3.) Eee, blue is my favorite color!

4.) Awww shucks, thanks!

5.) I remember that icon! I drew it one day in Webmastering when I was bored silly.

6.) I'm pretty much linked with that cat in real life, too. He's my baaabbbieee!

7.) I started swimming on a summer team when I was five or six. Then, when I discovered that I was an utter failure at sports on solid ground, I joined a year round team (LAC). I stayed on that team until I was ten, when I quit because I was slow and all my friends had quit. Years pass, and I started missing swimming. When I was 13, I joined LAC again to get ready for the high school swim team. Now that I'm in high school, I'm on both teams for extra practice. LAC practices at 5:15 in the morning, and high school is my last period class, at about three in the afternoon.

As for why? I guess it started out as fun, but now it's become an addiction. If I don't swim for a few days, oh man, do I get cranky. Plus, I'm starting to like reeking of chlorine. :)

1. You saw Hugh in Ohio! I am dismayed that he was so close and yet so far, but you lucky girl!
2. Try sushi! *grins*
3. Gold.
4. You're passionate about your beliefs, but in a sort of quiet, get-along-with-the-world way. It's all the more impressive because you don't feel the need to shout at people.
5. You were explaining the origin of your username on PPN.
6. A lion. Maybe an on-the-small-side lion, but a lion nonetheless.
7. What's it like, being in a sort of Christian youth group thing? I'm curious.

1. It was still far for me- that was my third three-hour drive to Ohio this month but SO WORTH IT NO REGRETS NONE NOPE.
6. Rawr.
7. In my old high school one or the on-campus one I'm in now? The high school one was amazing, I spent more time at the big Bapist one than at the smaller Methodist one because the Baptists were so passionate about it. The worship songs were the best, because there were anywhere between 100 and 300 high school kids all belting out at once. The one on campus I'm in now is kind of the same, only with a lot less people, we average about 50 people per night. Everyone knows each other and everyone is always very welcoming and friendly. One of the staff will lead a Bible study, kind of like a very informal sermon; we sing some stuff, we hang out. You can always IM me if you want to talk or know anything.

A lot of my friends are in groups like that, and they seem to get a lot out of it, emotionally and mentally. Which, y'know, what makes my friends happy makes me happy, in general.

Alas, there is nothing similar for the religiously disinclined. Unless you count Quiz Bowl, which is basically a bunch of friends sitting around and telling jokes. Every now and then there is a tournament and we whip out our massive stores of trivial knowledge and PWN, y'all. *grins*

1. Good luck doing your present-at-meeting *waves hands* thing. Unless you've already done it, in which case I'm sure you did fabulous.
2. Write something shiny! I don't really care what fandom it is. I promise I'll leave an in-depth review!
3. Red. Lightsaber red. *grins*
4. I'll tell you something I like about you.
5. Talking to you in chat. You asked me a question, I answered as best I could, and the way you reacted to it made me really think about the power of truth and kindness in the world.
6. You remind me of the little bird in the icon I made you! And apparantly I remind you of it as well, so we must be twins.
7. What particularly draws you to your religion? I assume it started out as a family thing, but for your faith to be as strong as it is you must have really thought about it. That sort of thing is always interesting to me.

1. Well, I decided not to do the package-throwing thing. Things turned out okay though.
2. Sheesh, another request for a fic.... oh boy.
3. Of course.
7. Wow, I've never had anyone ask me that before. But I think it's the hope that my faith brings, the hope and the happiness. I was raised in my faith, but there came a time when I had to find out for myself if it was true and I did. It hasn't all been good times, as you know, and there have been a few times when I've seriously considered turning my back on God and my beliefs. But I realize now that although the road I've chosen isn't the easiest, it's the only way I can be truly happy. It's a daily struggle, I have to work at it, and of course I know I can't ever be 100% happy. But having such a strong belief in God helps me stay possitive. It's really kind of hard to explain, it's just something I know and feel in my heart.

See, I think most of my friends went through that without noticing, or didn't really think of it at all, so they sometimes don't understand how I went the other way. I'm so happy that your path brings you happiness, PJ.

1. Remember that icon you used to have of the guy and the jeans and the artistic cropping? Who was that and/or what picture did it come from? Because my memory is failing.
2. Make an icon! For meeee! I have iconspace now. I'll go your shifty route and say "something we have in common."
3. Soft wispy green. Like grass seen through grey fog.
4. Raaaan! I like everything about you. This is too hard. Your sense of words, I suppose. Like Humpty Dumpty, making them do as you wish and paying bonuses on Sundays.
5. I reviewed something of yours with much squeeing and hand-waving. You squeed back, somewhat more dignifiedly. I realized for the first time that Authors are people too. Later, I may have burned you in effigy, and/or sainted you.
6. A fox. *winks broadly and ridiculously*
7. Every time I tell someone I'm an only child I get eye-rolling and "lucky" and "spoiled." What is something that, for you, is worthwhile or enjoyable about having a sibling?

1. Um... er... were there shoes involved? If it was shoes and jeans, it was me actually. If not... your guess is as good as mine.
2. Will definitely do.
4. (Yeah right.)
5. I think you did both, nearly simultaneously.
7. Well, despite the fact that my siblings are a continuous pain in the neck, there are actually a lot of things I like about having them. There's always a scapegoat around, for starters. But my favourite is probably just the shared experiences. The fact that we were all raised the same way, all went through the same things, and so when it comes to having to remember things, good and bad, all it takes is a word or two and we have moments of remembering. There's just nothing quite like it.

1. No shoes. Sigh. I remember the time I got in trouble in preschool for throwing away a colouring-picture I didn't like and getting a new one, but I can't remember that.

4. No bonuses even if they work extra hard? Tsk.

7. That's really quite amazing.

2. I challenge you to hang around more! I really miss you when I don't hear anything from you for months.
3. Deep rose-pink.
4. I just remember that when I got upset over things, or threw silly tantrums, you were there with a hug and a kind word and made me feel more like myself.
5. I honestly couldn't say! It's like you've always been around. In chat, saying something silly or laughing at the antics of others.
6. A robin.
7. What hobbies do you enjoy? Sporky does knitting, I do origami... what random thing do you do when you have a moment?
