My birthday was wonderful, many thanks to all of you who gave your best wishes. I got a few gifts, including a stunning garnet and silver pendant, a Splatter in D Minor hoodie, and an amazing pair of dress pants. They are stunning for three reasons- they fit perfectly, both around the waist and in length; they're loose, comfy, and a pretty grey pinstripe; and they're a size 6. Joy. Good dress pants are so damn hard to find.

I also got these shoes to wear with the pants, since they are- oh, rapture- long enough that I can wear heels with them!

They are sleek and curvy and retro and sexy as hell. The patent leather is shiny, the heel is low and comfortable, and I am in love.


So, now I am eighteen and legal. As I have been informed, this means that I can vote, buy cigarettes, buy porn, ACT in porn, and have sex in other states (listed in order of increasing popularity as they were suggested to me). 

Since I am unlikely to do any of these anytime soon, I'll focus on the big impact of this birthday to me; I am now an adult. It's a tiny thing, a finicky little line, but I am nevertheless incredibly grateful to all the friends and family I have right now. You, all of you and then some, mean the world to me.


... And on cue, like the lighting that smashes down onto Frankenstein's tower, Angst and Drama have insinuated their way into my life. To which I say, fuck that noise. I know who I care about and that's good enough for me.

Ooh, I feel so bad for my best friend right now. I'm cycling through "pissed that she didn't tell me" and "feeling kind of bad about it", and my e-mails are downright schizophrenic.
