I feel like I was born in the wrong year. Wrong year, and wrong time zone. I should have been born at least five years earlier, and in a time zone which makes it convenient to talk to people who don't have to wake up as early as I do.

Right month, though, so at least something came out well.

Got some lovely presents. Favorites? A gorgeous silver cuff set with an aventurine stone the size of a quarter. A bunch of really neat beads from a friend of my mother, in a wonderfully convenient plastic case. The Wizard of Karres, Last Chance to See, and The Valdemar Companion. PotC and CatCF. And my newest prized possession, a PotO poster (musical, not movie).

I'm absolutely happy, I really am. It's just... hard to summon up enthusiasm right now. Can't figure why.
