Eeek! First concert is scary, guys. Not that I'm afraid I'm going to get mugged or squashed in a mosh pit, since our venue isn't set up for moshing where I'll be sitting, but STILL. Still.
*deep breath and chills*
I went to Pirates Friday night and it was amazing. From an objective perspective there were some flaws, but from a fannish perspective it was magnificent, and I'm already twitching in anticipation of the fanfiction. As a sidenote, we topped "three people to a futon" with "four people to a smallish fold-out couch", and I really don't recommend it unless you are with people with whom you have no sense of personal space, heh.
