AHAHAHA I am on so much sugar/crack right now. I just mixed up Sacha Baron Cohen with his prettier, ice-skating nearly-name-twin. However, official interview has it that Alan Rickman is going to be in Sweeney Todd, singing a duet with Johnny Depp. If we accept Depp to be Sweeney, and acknowledge that Rickman is not exactly Anthony material (AHAHA) than he is probably the Judge. Which, seriously, is the most awesome thing I can imagine right now, because he has that whole cool-and-fatherly-but-PERV thing going on, or at least he could.
But with the way this movie is going (Sacha Baron Cohen = Pirelli WTF?)... please, Mr. Burton. DUB DUB DUB. Also, I can kind of accept the fact that Helena Bonham Carter might make a decent Mrs Lovett, but I am so sick of seeing her stuffed into a Burton movie at the least excuse.
By the way, if anyone could chance to upload the second Ballad of Sweeney Todd and Pretty Women in mp3 format for me, I would love you forever. When I originally got the recording by dubious means, those two songs were cut off for some reason, and I had to buy them off iTunes; now, a friend wants the recording, and she doesn't have an ipod and therefore can't play the encoded songs.
Okay, there are no words for how much I want Life, the Universe, and Everything as an audiobook narrated by Douglas Adams. By the sample, the recording quality isn't the highest, but that is so unimportant in the general scheme of things. Need more iTunes giftcards!
