spam o' the day
Apr. 16th, 2007 07:31 pmIt seems I may have gotten myself into a new fandom, or rather an associated set of fandoms. The signs are there, complete with compulsive reading of fic and viewing of youtube clips, the picking up of random obscure trivia, and the strange dreams that contain inexplicable in-jokes.
Um. Okay? Hello, bandom.
I still ♥ you, Supernatural, but you've been shuffled into the somewhat corner-ier part of my mind along with House and SGA and Stargate and Phantom &c. It happens to the best shows, never fear. I will still read your fic, I'm just not going to really devote my full effort to it.
In other news, I was up 'til late-o'-bloody-clock last night writing practice AP essays that it turned out we only had to do outlines or "jots" for. And then, when I tried to get to sleep, I started itching horribly and had to tuck my hands under my pillow to stop from flaying any more red lines across my skin. Also had to distract myself with bizarre but pleasurable fic bunnies that I would NEVER EVER write except in that half-asleep, everything-is-a-great-idea state.
Here's three pics for ya. Brownie points to anyone who can guess where in Chicago I took them! Sorry if they're huge, for once I'm hoping Photobucket shrank them a bit. Used the Color Accent feature on my camera to pick up that gorgeous blue of the sky, it was such a lovely day, and bleach out the buildings somewhat for contrast.
Also got a 33 on my ACT, by the way. XD
