So, I have never had a boyfriend. Not even a little bit! Not even a one-date deal. I have lots of, ah, acquired experience through reading, but if I had to write even a kissing scene, I would have no practical experience to base it off of. This is for multiple reasons; many of them hinge on the fact that I have known the same bunch of guys for a long time now, and they are all complete dorks.

I don't have any particular angst about this, except for sometimes I collapse on my friends and whine about how I'm hideous and no one would ever ask me out, but those are rare occasions. Usually I don't care because I am just not obsessive about these things. I read lots of books!

I am not, however, entirely free of hormones, so here are pictures of people whom I enjoy looking at. Today I will do pictures of girls who are in bands, of whom there are unfortunately only three. Tomorrow I will do something else!

Vicky T is my girlfriend! No, wait, that's a lie. Dammit.



MOTORCYCLE. Somehow the smoking fails to be a turn-off. I blame bandom for that, too many hot guys who just happen to smoke.



Vicky T is in Cobra Starship. She plays the keytar, possibly the dorkiest instrument on the planet, and yet somehow she makes it hot. This is because she has magical powers, and also her dresses are adorable, I want her to take me shopping.



She is secretly a mischevious elf. Pictures like this make me babble things like "Can I just touch her hair, god, please?!"

Ivarrson, Maja


Maja is Swedish and pretty. If I could get my bangs to look like that I would never switch hairdressers again.



She is a Swedish NINJA. Look at the definition in her leg muscles! She could crush your head between her knees. Awesome.



She is bendy and her band is awesome! There are no downsides.



For those of you into Sci-Fi, she bears a kind of startling resemblance to Six in this picture. I find it cool, because I <3 Six and her evil manipulating ways.



Maja rose to bandom fame through hanging out with these three losers, even though she was busy saving the world with her ninja skills. Note that William Beckett (to the left of her) is still the girliest person in this picture.


Salpeter, Greta


This is Greta and I want her hat.



Also her shoes, and possibly the dress. Here is the rest of Greta's band The Hush Sound; they are not all as pretty as her, but we forgive them. 



I shouldn't call it Greta's band, because she's not really the frontwoman. She fulfills a mysterious but necessary function which involves piano, singing, and looking very attractive in music videos. If my hair did things like that I could be in a band too.



Laptop! People always look adorable to me when they have laptops, for some reason. It's so cozy.

Now I am done feeling sad and am happy instead. There should be more girls in bands, they are cool!

I love Maja, she's a crazy beautiful ninja and her voice is all growly and awesome. But, I have a huge girlcrush on Vicky T. I don't know, I'm biased by the fact that Cobra Starship is cool.

I don't even know what video that's from! But yes, it's very pretty and I kind of want her to be a wood nymph really a lot. How cool would that be?

Mmm, nice songs. I have some iTunes money to burn, and I love investing it in new bands. My ipod has everything from classical to trip-hop to musicals in foreign languages, I'm not stuck on any one genre. Thanks for the tip!
