Someone talk to me about Doctor Who. I really to talk about the series 3 finale, and specifically about how I am madly and eternally in love with the Master. Or at least this incarnation of him; some of the previous ones were a bit iffy, but John Simm is hot.

 Also, god bless the Internet for providing good Master/Doctor fic on request, with all the dominance undertones that the name would imply.

I just watched the first part of the finale and I'm 99% sure there was Timelord phone sex? Complete with sexyfaces and "I love the way you say my name." asl;dgjfdljf

He uses cheesy Australian dance music as the soundtrack to his evil plots! There are black leather gloves! I am seriously fucking helpless when it comes to a good villain, and he is the absolute best.

Yeeeeah. He was magnificently hot. Mmmm villains. Ok, yeah, no, seriously. Like, I thought I loved the Daleks (AND I STILL DO, OF COURSE) but the Master was. Nnngh.

Purposefully? As in, it was intentional? Dear god, I hope so, that would be the most fantastic thing ever. That phone call is possibly the most erotically charged thing I have ever seen on television.

My main cause of hate was OMG YOU KILLED THE MASTER NO, because for a few blissful seconds I imagined him as the companion for season four, and it was brilliant. Someone wrote an alternate season 4 under that premise which was also brilliant, thus proving my point. And Martha was kind of whingy, which made me sad, because she deserved better as a character.

Russell T. Davies is famous for his GAY AGENDA and there's no way that phone convo went out without anyone noticing it was really really gay.

I disliked the Doctor=Jesus nonsense and Martha basically getting the short end and all that--while I don't blame her for leaving in the context of the show I blame the makers for taking her away from me because she was really what brought me into it for real, as an avid watcher and not just casual.

Name of said Master as Companion story? Please?

It was PHONE SEX. There was MOANING. I was absolutely delighted.

Yeah, that was a bit iffy. I blame the writers a bit for making her into the kind of lovestruck where she had to either leave the show or turn into a twit. Seriously, everyone doesn't have to have a crush on the Doctor, Rose generally got along alright.

Season 4 AU. (http://dwseason4.livejournal.com/) And it's actually a season AU, so there are thirteen "episodes" with individual plots as well as story arcs, which is awesome. It's just beautifully well-written and executed and funny and more than I dare expect from such a small pairing. Here, also have Mendelian Inheritance (http://mercurial-wit.livejournal.com/39518.html), which I pimp to everyone ever because it contains regeneration during sex and that is brilliant.
