You forget how much you love and need your friends until you're packed like sardines, six of you on a couch meant for four at most, trying to laugh whilst holding very, very still. It's a good thing we're close friends; when my phone went off on vibrate in my pocket, Red and I felt it at the same time, we were squished so close. Master and Commander is a fantastic movie and I highly recommend it, particularly with friends who are prone to laughing with you and snarking with you and going blissfully limp at the violin/cello duets.

I need that soundtrack. NEED it.

Managed to actually mix the proper pink for my painting. I have no idea how I managed it; white and red, of course, a touch of blue, a dab of orange, whatever felt right. I get in this zone where I don't notice anything or anyone going on around me.

Had a very interesting conversation with one of my friends about religion, and I was never more happy that I was able to discuss it without getting defensive or rude or anything. (Other than telling her that she was just jealous that the Bible wasn't as funny as Douglas Adams books, which is of course completely true.)

Supernatural-wise: METALLICAR FIXED YAY! They know the fans adore that car beyond all reasoning; it got its own little montage.

Doctor Who: Finally got around to watching last week's episode, and oh wow. Werewolves in Victorian England. The Doctor in glasses. Ah, be still my heart.

FIRST SNOW OF THE YEAR! *victory dance* It was blizzarding when we went to the video store; I got snowflakes stuck to my eyelashes. Marvelous.

My friends really need to learn to restrain themselves. I have a bump on my head thanks to one person's inability to resist temptation. *scowls, but amusedly*

Y'know what? This last episode, the one at the school, I think has won me over to David Tennant, or at least come pretty close. I may soon have to acquire a Tenth icon.
